A handful of celebs attended the 8th Annual Keep a Child Alive Black Ball at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. The event is geared to raise money and awareness for children who’ve been afflicted with the AIDS & HIV virus. Don’t you just love when stars do something with themselves for a good cause, AND look good while doing so?
My hat goes off to rap-stress turned actress turned beauty mogul Queen Latifah for being brave enough to wear her… Easter Sunday(?) turned Kentucky Derby(?) turned funeral hat out in public. No I’m kidding. The hat totally made a mockery of the rest of her look. I would have much rather seen her without the head piece and instead worn some chandelier earrings.
