    And here’s just another example of how hip hop music influences (for better or for worse) our culture. I’m going to assume that all of  you have heard Rick Ross‘ verse on “John” with Lil Wayne where he references the iconic artist as part of his gun blasting, blood spattering lyrics in the song. Reebok has released these Omni Lite sneakers supposedly as an homage to the late Brooklyn born graffiti artist Jean-Michel Basquiat. Aside from his name and what I’m guessing is supposed to be a silhouette of the artists hair style the shoes (as dope as they are)bear no resemblance to any of Basquiat’s actual art work.
