Junior M.A.F.I.A. member and the late rapper Notorious B.I.G.’s right hand man, Lil Cease sat down with XXL Magazine to discuss the relationship between Big and Heavy D, who passed unexpectedly last week. Lil’ Cease says that Biggie considered Heavy D a “mentor” who he listened to as a kid, and took advice from on everything from how to get at the ladies to dressing as a larger man.
Cease also speaks on Heavy and Big’s intentions of working on a project together and keeping the family vibe going at 90’s Powerhouse label, Uptown Records. “Him and Big was doing the records, they was trying to do a whole project together.
