AllHipHop.com has reported that Philly rapper, Tommy Hill was shot in a Philadelphia bar early Friday morning and later died at a hospital on Sunday morning. Tommy Hill was a member of Philly’s rap group, “Ram Squad”. The victim who sources identified as Tommy HIll was approached by three gunmen as he left Reuben’s Marc Bar Friday around 1:30 am. It appears the three men were robbing the vicim when the manager of the bar heard gunshots and returned shots along with bar security. The manager nor the security guard were harmed during the shootout but Hill was hit in the chest and lower body, where he died from his injuries early on Sunday morning.
Although police believe robbery was the main motive, they are looking into other possible motives as Hill cooperated with Philadelphia’s district attorney’s office in a case against three North Philly drug dealers who were allegedly stockpiling weapons of mass destruction back in 2004.
