In a recent interview with Rap-Up.com T-Pain tries to explain the reasons why there will be no “T-Wayne” collabo album with him and Lil Wayne as we were all being told circa 2008. The two were featured together on tracks such as T-Pain’s “i Can’t Believe It” and “Studio Love (Remix)”, but never released an official “T-Wayne” album, which T-Pain says they had 8 or 9 songs done for.
“When [Wayne] got into his litte trouble, that was right at the peak of when we was like, ‘OK, let’s go. Let’s do this now.’ He finally had time, then he went to jail,” said Pain. “Things happen and I’m pretty sure he’s over the whole idea now. I don’t even be bringing it up to him no more. I’m pretty sure he’s way past that right now. He’s doing big things.” Check out T-Pain’s take on T-Wayne in the video below.
