According to TMZ, Midwest rapper, Nelly is facing a lawsuit from credit card company American Express, claiming that he owes them $20,000 in unpaid credit card bills. Back in October, Amex filed the suit claiming that not only does Nelly owe them a little over $20,000 but that he also now owes $3,000 in attorney fees.
A court hearing is scheduled for January 9th, but no one from Nelly’s team has made any comments. Hopefully, the album that Nelly was supposed to drop in 2011, which has now been pushed back to 2012 can help with his financial woes.
