The Re:Generation project is a documentary that follows 5 of the worlds biggest DJ’s – Skrillex, Mark Ronson, Pretty Lights, Dj Premier and The Crystal Method as they set out to put a different spin on musical history. This clip displays DJ Premier linking up with The Berklee Symphony Orchestra for his “Regeneration” track which is slated to feature vocals from legendary Queens emcee, Nas. Widely known as hip hop’s greatest producer, Premier plans to blend symphony schemes with scratches and drum patterns for the upcoming project. This will be a great step forward for hip hop as well as a historic collaboration for music in general. Check the video below.
