According to MSNBC, rapper C-Murder whose real name is Corey Miller, was denied his second appeal to overturn his 2009 life sentence for killing a 16 year old fan in Louisiana back in 2002. The former No Limit rapper was convicted of second degree murder after the 2002 nightclub shooting.

C-Murder’s appeal was denied by a three-judge court panel of the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals. C-Murder’s appeal was based off of what he believed was an unfair trial due to the courts “systematically [eliminating] black people from the jury” as well as sharing “prejudicial and unsubstantiated” information.
