First Basketball Wives, then Mob Wives and according to Ozone Magazine, Atlanta’s very own BMF Wives?? In case you’re not familiar with the BMF aka the “Black Mafia Family”, they allegedly ran one of the largest drug cartels in Atlanta lead by the Flenory Brothers, “Big Meech” and “Southwest T”. The name might sound familiar after Rick Ross brought the family into hip hop notoriety with his 2010 single, “BMF”.
Now the wives of the infamous family have gotten together to make their own money off the family name. Rumor has it that the girlfriends and baby mama’s of the men who ran the Black Mafia Family will be profiting off of their Tony Montana-meets-Atlanta street lifestyle. The wives have already started shooting a pilot with Strange Fruit Productions, the people behind reality shows on networks such as BET.
Terry “Southwest T” Flenory’s wife Tonesa Welch, is the one who allegedly is spearheading the campaign to tell the BMF’s story on national television. When was it okay for mafia affiliates or the like of to take their stories to national TV? Sounds like this will take “street code” to another level. Can’t wait to see where this goes!
