To say that actress Viola Davis is having a moment would be the understatement of the year! As we’re only in the first quarter of 2012 and knee-deep in awards season, she’s already nailed each of her red carpet appearances. Not only do we love that a woman of color is leading the way in the industry alongside a Hollywood heavy-weight like Meryl Streep, but she’s doing it with style and grace! Soon to be Oscar nominated for the 2nd time for her riveting portrayal of a black maid during the dawn of the civil rights movement, Ms. Davis is carrying the torch for all black women in entertainment.
