So when one of the hottest up and coming rappers has the biggest labels in Hip Hop trying to get him on their team, how does one choose which label to make their home? In French Montana’s case, if you don’t have a cell phone he can’t rock with you. In a recent interview with Angie Martinez, French Montana revealed that he chose to sign with Bad Boy Records as opposed to Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music, because Kanye West doesn’t have a phone! “Kanye doesn’t have a phone. If you need to get in contact with Kanye, you have to email him. You can’t tell me how to do that. I don’t know how to use an email, so I guess me and you is never gonna talk. And I’ma put my career in your hands? He’s definitely talented and I felt like if I went there, we would have definitely made history,” said French Montana.
