Just when we thought we couldn’t be more jealous of a three week old baby, Beyonce and Jay Z announced that Oprah will be the Godmother to Blue Ivy Carter. According to Idolator, the couple picked Oprah over other hopefuls such as Auntie Solange and Kelly Rowland. Blue Ivy is already the youngest person to make the Billboard charts, and now she has media mogul aka “Ruler of the Known Universe”, Oprah, as her Godmother. At this point Blue Ivy is basically American royalty. Here’s to you, kid!
