Within minutes of Bobby Brown’s arrival to his ex-wife Whitney Houston’s funeral, security asked him to leave. Bobby wasted little time in telling everyone what had actually occurred while he was attempting to honor and pay respect to his late ex-wife. Here is his official statement:

“My children and I were invited to the funeral of my ex-wife Whitney Houston.  We were seated by security and then subsequently asked to move on three separate occasions.”

“I fail to understand why security treated my family this way and continue to ask us and no one else to move,” he said.  “Security then prevented me from attempting to see my daughter Bobbi-Kristina. In light of the events, I gave a kiss to the casket of my ex-wife and departed as I refused to create a scene. My children are completely distraught over the events. This was a day to honor Whitney. I doubt Whitney would have wanted this to occur. I will continue to pay my respects to my ex-wife the best way I know how.”

Do you believe it was fair that he and his family was treated in such a manner?

    1. If it happened as Bobby said, of course it was wrong and an unChristian thing to do in a church! And as he also said, Whitney would not have wanted that. They should have squashed the family drama b/c now it’s going to be talked about for days to come.

    2. Everybody is welcome in the house of the lord, yes they should of not did that , I hope that made them feel good, because it’s sad for real , we are not judges, and really if they didn’t want him around her they should of kept him away when she was alive, that’s something they have to live with, and his daughter should of been more voiceful in that, but They too have to answer to God,

    3. that was terrible for them to treat him that way why wern’t they there when she overdose discussing i don’t beleive bobbie kristina and cissy had anything to do with that

    4. Totally rude. It’s a funeral not a wedding. Not only was he not accommodated with his seating but he was not able to seat his own children – who are Bobbi Kristina’s family. That is so absolutely pathetic. When the family matriarch can call the shots like that, it is so pathetic.

    5. Christian or no, it would be extremely difficult to embrace the person who caused your daughter so much pain. It would also be very difficult to believe he is going to be good for your granddaughter. It is a little hard to feel sorry for Bobby Brown since most of the resentment his family feel has been reported to be connected to his tell all book a few years ago blaming Whitney for the hard drugs and saying she wanted to get married to improve her image. I’m not sure how marrying Bobby helped her improve her image. The heavy drug use also didn’t start until after she married bobby brown and made the body guard. However much they may need to let the past go it is completely natural for Whitney’s family to want to protect BK.

    6. That was WRONG! Its no way around it. Regardless of who they feel is the blame or how they feel about Mr. Brown, that was undeniably wrong, and it sent a very disturbing message to the world! I’m not sure the Houstons realize that or not or even care! I’ve always looked at their family as being spiritual and grounded, but after these events, they have shown their TRUE COLORS! Not everyone who claims to know God and love his word is applying and showing those fruitages. My condolences to the Houston family & the Brown family! My prayers will remain with you both! RIP Whitney!

    7. @anotherday. Whoops……….correction; Whitney was fully into drugs/alcohol before she met Bobby. Dr. Drew resource and best girlfriends before Bobby partied with Whitney. Check it out.
