MTV put together a panel of industry and hip hop experts to decide on the 10 hottest MC’s in the game right now, and Rick Ross was named #1. The panel went back and forth between Drake and Rick Ross for the number one spot and Rozay came out on top due to his branding, building the Maybach Music empire and what they considered one of the hottest mixtapes so far of 2012, Rich Forever.
