When all else fails…blame Hip-Hop.
That’s exactly what Rush Limbaugh is doing after coming under heat and losing sponsors after he called Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke a whore for speaking to Congress about healthcare issues and that employers should cover birth control.
Limbaugh, who also upset members of his own Republican party who voiced their disapproval of his comments, stated,
“Talk about a double standard…Rappers can say anything they want about women [and] it’s called art. And they win awards.”
Rush still hasn’t apologized to Fluke personally and the only reason he probably gave the lame attempt over the weekend is because sponsors started pulling out and a possible lawsuit from Fluke may be filed.
Now rappers aren’t perfect by a longshot but pulling them into this B.S. shows just how desperate Limbaugh is.
