President Obama Says “If I Had A Son Trayvon Martin Would Look Like Him”; Plus College Student Speaks Out (video inside)

    The White House has been quiet about the recent shooting death of Miami teen Trayvon Martin citing that it was a local issue up until now. Today President Obama stated during an interview at the White House that the killing of Trayvon Martin was tragic and that “if he had a son he’d look like Trayvon.” Many in the African American community were wondering why the President hadn’t spoke about the matter, however, the Justice Department has already launched their own investigation. Clearly President Obama’s message sends a powerful statement to the family of Trayvon Martin as well as the people of Sanford, Florida.

    Meanwhile, HHE’s Dennis Byron has been in Sanford, Florida reporting on the tragedy surrounding the death of Trayvon Martin. He spoke with some of the members of the Sanford community and got their view on how the situation is being handled.
