It happens every year. The 2012 BET Awards nominations were announced Wednesday afternoon and its already looking to be a whose who of your favorite folks in entertainment. Leading the pack is Kim Kardashian’s current partner in public displays of hand-holding Kanye West with seven nominations including two nods for video of the year with the smash singles “N**gas in Paris” and “Otis” he scored with father of the year Jay-Z.
Yeezy is followed closely by his God daughter’s milk provider, pop sensation Beyonce with six nominations. The very idea that Jigga’s wifey comes 2nd to anything should make for interesting conversation around the changing table.
As of yet, only Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj have been confirmed to perform. But the big question on our mind is the same as every year: how many of the A-list stars will actually show up to receive their award? Stay tuned to HiphopEnquirer.com for all the award show details.
