What’s in A Name You Ask? Group Mindless Behavior Dissed Singer Lauryn Hill at Bet Awards

Just because your name is Mindless Behavior does’t mean you can get off by disrespecting someone who has paved the way for you to have an opportunity to shine yourself. As I sat in the audience and watched the exchange between comedian Mike Epps and the teen group Mindless Behavior I could only wonder who approved their skit as the world witnessed the group make fun up Lauryn Hill’s tax problems. Many people in the audience felt as I did when one of the group’s members joked “You sing BAD … like Lauryn Hill’s tax accountant bad.”

TMZ is reporting that Beyonce’s  was so upset, she scrapped the speech she had prepared and defended Lauryn’s honor instead … saying, “I want to thank all the talented R&B women that came before me like Lauryn Hill and Mary J. Blige.”

A word to the wise for Mindless Behavior…stick to what you do best and that is music, leave the comedy for the comedians. Now go to your room for a time out!
