ATLANTA— Chilli’s Crew, a non-profit organization founded by 5x Grammy Award winner Chilli of chart-topping music group TLC, is pleased to announce its first Chilli’s Crew Summer Camp for Girls. The 3 day camp, which will take place July 20-22, is dedicated to improving the lives of girls ages 13-17.
Chilli’s Crew began when Chilli had a desire to be a positive influence on girls and felt the need to follow through with her vision. The organization’s first event presented a group of girls with professional mini makeovers and a day of pampering at an Atlanta hair salon and day spa to help boost their self-esteem and confidence. “I’ve always been a big believer in giving back to the community, especially when it comes to children”, says Chilli. “There is so much pressure and influence, whether in school or on T.V. on young girls today that affects their self-esteem. I want to provide a positive outlet for these young ladies to not only enjoy themselves, but to also take away lessons that will later guide them in life.”
