June 14th, the famous rapper and R&B singer, Drake and Chris Brown, allegedly got into an altercation at Greenhouse, a New York City nightclub. Entertainment Enterprises, which operates W.I.P. and Greenhouse, the adjoining club, claims the stars are responsible for “gross negligence,” “ultra hazardous activity” and “intentional illegal acts.” The lawsuit was filed in Manhattan Supreme Court for $16 million.
The lawsuit filed by Entertainment Enterprises states the brawl started because Brown and Drake “each shared a grudge against the other arising out of their romantic relationships with the same woman,” and by same woman, they are referring to International pop-star Rihanna.
According to TMZ, Chris Brown has given a statement to NYPD investigators and his lawyer has given over tangible evidence that supports Drakes involvement in the fight. Also, Brown’s lawyer allegedly has evidence supporting Drake initiated the scuffle, which Meek Mill denied on Drake’s behalf. As for Drake’s side of the story—he claims he had nothing to do with the fight and was exiting when all of the commotion started denying that he tossed a bottle at Chris Brown’s entourage, which is what allegedly started the chaos.
