Rapper Snoop Dogg, taking time away from his “Reincarnated” promotion tour, recently shared his views on Barack Obama during a press conference. Although the hip-hop superstar failed to refrain from using profanity, the Dogg shared an interesting political view.
“They need to give Obama four more years, man,” Snoop told an audience of mostly amused reporters adding, “I mean, Bush fucked up for eight years, so you gotta at least give [Obama] eight years. He cleaned half the shit up in four years, realistically. It ain’t like y’all gave him a clean house. Y’all gave him a house where the TV didn’t’ work, the toilet was stuffed up — everything was wrong with the house.“
The longtime rapper also gave Obama credit for eliminating Osama bin Laden. Obviously Snoop has been very involved in the Democratic National Convention. More on his political views.
Snoop’s latest film “Reincarnated” produced by VICE films and Snoopadelic Films follows him on his journey through Jamaica. “F*** Snoop Dogg,” the rapper turned Reggae-artist recorded an album with Diplo as “Snoop Lion”. While in Jamaica, Snoop “finds himself embraced by the Jamaican people, is positively impacted by Rastafarian culture, and becomes reincarnated as Snoop Lion”. The documentary film premiered this week at the Toronto International Film Festival.
