Update: According to BET’s official 106 & Park twitter page, they ARE not closing their doors and will be announcing the new host in October. They will be giving Terrence J and Rosci a going away party though. Sorry for the false alarm!!! Thanks Nicki G for the tip!
On September 29th, the Bet Hip Hop Awards will be touching down in Atlanta Georgia. This year, 2 of Bet’s notable personalities will be absent from the festivities pre-show event, Terrence J and Rosci Diaz because both have decided to pursue other options and as a matter of fact Actor/Host Terrence J has signed on to co-host E Television which had BET scrambling to find their replacements.Rosci has been seen in the company of mega star Eddie Murphy and she has already indicated a serious interest in pursuing her own acting career so that left the show scouting for their replacements. With little success, the producers have decided to cancel the show for good. Globalgrind.com recently reported that a source close to the show has said the decision has been made already however an official statement has yet to be released by Bet’s publicity department but we are told that is just a matter of time and logistics.
