In Dallas, Ga, a mother and father were arrested for child abuse and neglect in Paulding County for their malnourished 18-year-old son who was found at a bus station in Los Angeles.
According to Paulding County Sheriff’s spokesman Cpl. Ashley Henson, a retired Los Angeles Police officer, who was working security at the bus station, approached 18-year-old Mitch Comer because he appeared to look out of place. The man contacted police when Comer said his parents put him on a bus in Mississippi to LA and told him never to come home.
Detectives later learned that Comer had been locked in his room in his home on Vivid Lane in Dallas, Ga., for four years. His younger sisters told investigators they didn’t even know the color of their brother’s hair because they hadn’t seen him in over two years. According to Abcnews.com
Comer was taken out of school in the 8th grade, and hasn’t been to school since.
