Chris Brown appeared in court yesterday for a probation progress report hearing for the 2009 assault conviction of then girlfriend superstar Rihanna.
According to the probation court documents, Brown failed his drug test on June 18th in Virgina, while completing his community service ordered by the court.
According to TMZ.com, in the probation report, Chris informed his probation officer that he smoked weed in California, where he has a medical marijuana prescription and then failed the test in Virginia, where weed is illegal.
Judge Patricia Schnegg said she never ordered Brown to undergo mandatory drug testing as part of his probation, so she gave him a break reminding him to obey all laws. The judge ordered for his case to be moved back to California since that’s where he lives now.
According to Virginia police, he has now completed his community service. He did 1,402 hours, more than his six month sentence. He cleaned stables, washed cars, painted and cleaned bathroom floors.
Earlier before his court case, Rihanna tweeted Chris “I’m praying for you and wishing you the best today” Shorty after, Chris responded with a tweet to her “thank you so much”
