Louisiana rapper Lil Webbie couldn’t stop smiling when long time friend Lil Boosie called his cell phone during his live Gutta TV show, in Dallas Texas just recently.
The legendary rap artist Boosie [Torrence Hatch] was indicted on federal charges back in June of 2010, for the murder of Terry Boyd. The well respected Baton Rouge street artist also faced charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver, facing up to 8 years in prison.
Well surprisingly, Lil Boosie was acquitted on the murder charges. Now fans, as well as Trill Entertainment family members of the incarcerated artist, heavily anticipate his release date.
There were rumors stating Lil Webbie was brutally jumped by unidentified individuals at a Chicago nightclub, earlier this year, because of his lack of financial support towards Boosie’s closest kin – including Boosie’s baby mother and children.
The first phone call Boosie made directly to Webbie’s personal phone was recorded in the video below. An entourage member of Webbie’s instructed Boosie to call in fifteen minutes because Webbie would be on stage with fans.
Webbie also kept reiterating to his friend Boosie that he was going to return a large star, chanting to him, “You gone be big.” Word up.”
Check out the video below. Fans screamed into the phone “Free Boosie” validating that the down south hip-hop fan base cannot wait until the return of Torrence Hatch, Lil Boosie “Boo”.
They finished the show off with a few songs of Boosie’s in memory of his many hardcore hits.
