“It’s Murdaaaa!!” Former Murder Inc. rapper Ja Rule is about to trade in his inmate number for a breath of “fresh freedom” air. The 90’s rapper’s two-year sentence is over in just months.
After being held in prison since June 2011, Ja Rule will be released in a few months. According to the artist’s website, he is scheduled to be released on February 21, 2013.
Ja Rule ended up in prison, because of an arrest made in 2007 where police found a loaded semi-automatic handgun after searching his vehicle.
While serving time behind bars, Ja Rule released his latest album Pain is Love 2 and published an open letter to fans on what life in jail feels like.
