So rumor has it that the “Basketball Wives” might walk out on the show during filming if VH1 doesn’t up their salaries. According TMZ, sources connected to VH1 are saying that the women have drawn clear lines on what they want from the network. It’s been said that the show began filming for the 5th season last week, but Shaunie O’Neal, Evelyn Lozada, Tami Roman, and Suzie Ketcham do not have locked contracts.
Supposedly the women are in the process of getting some new contracts and major pay raises. They claim that their show does very well for VH1.
Before they began filming, TMZ reported that VH1 made it clear to the women that a salary increase wouldn’t happen and if anyone had a problem with that, they could be replaced. Well, filming schedules were sent to the “wives”, and so far no deal has been reached and neither side is budging.
