Rihanna might have wrapped up her seven day “777” tour last night in NYC, but the roller coaster ride for her seventh studio album, Unapologetic, has just begun. The album is projected to sell anywhere between 240 and 260,000 units in the first week. With numbers like that, it looks like Unapologetic just might be Rihanna’s most successful project to date.

Unapologetic dropped this past Monday, November 19, and has already scored a number one hit with “Diamonds”. Rihanna’s only other real competition this week is Nicki Minaj’s The Re-Up album, but probably won’t be much of a rival since it’s a re-release. Rihanna tweeted “Happy WORLDWIDE #UNAPOLOGETIC DAY!!! Thank everybody around the world who’s supporting this album. I couldn’t be more ecstatic about this.” on Monday. Congrats, Rih Rih!
