    Last night the nominees for the 55th Annual Grammy Awards were announced, and some of our favorite hip hop and r&b star power took over. Nominees included artists such as Frank Ocean, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Chris Brown, 2 Chainz, Rick Ross, Lupe Fiasco, Estelle, Miguel, Trey Songz, Elle Varner and more.

    Frank Ocean cemented his place as the new generation’s R&B savior as he tied with veterans Jay-Z and Kanye West for six nominations each. The 55th Annual Grammy Awards takes place live on February 10th at L.A.’s Staples Center.
