If you were born and/or raised in the South, then you’ve heard of the name UGK. Bun B and Pimp C came straight out of Port Arthur, Texas (with an extended stop in Houston) with a brand of hip-hop that could only be described as, “counrty rap tunes”.
Bun and Pimp’s debut album Too Hard To Swallow turns 20 years old this year. Young filmmaker, Sama’an Ashraw pays homage to the legendary act with a 25 minute documentary on the duo’s influence over the past two decades. This is a must watch for all UGK fans.
