The Gap decided that for their 2012 holiday campaign, they’d reach out to the rap legend Nasir “Nas” Jones and his father, Jazz musician Olu Dara. Nas tweeted the pic earlier today, and he and his dad looked rather sharp in their early winter attire.
Nas stared straight into the camera wearing a flannel pattern shirt with sleeves [rolled up] and a mature overlaying vest. Both of his arms hung over his father’s neck, as the founder emcee gave the photo sincerity. Both, father and son, looked rather dapper in the latest threads from Gap’s 2012 Collection.
Although this is the first time the two men have been featured in print ads together, they’ve collaborated on tracks several times. Nas placed his father in the background cornet of “Life’s A B*tch” and “Dance”. We can agree that Dara is most famous for his track “Bridging the Gap”.
