This is even better than any Basketball Wives Miami or LA episode that we’ve ever seen! Jamie Patrice Thomas, wife of Charlotte Bobcats’ Tyrus Thomas, Sascha Smith, fiance’ of the Bobcat’s Ben Gordon, celeb stylist Shassity Stevenson and Morgan Williams were all arrested early Thursday morning. For what, you ask? For allegedly stealing a woman’s cell phone and purse!
The group of friends attended the NBA star, Chris Paul’s party at “Label” nightclub in Charlotte, NC where they allegedly got into a scuffle after trying to steal a woman’s purse and cell phone on Wednesday night. Thomas then tried to flee the scene with Smith and Stevenson in the car, but hit a security guard TWICE before police arrived.
Police had to break the window to get Thomas out, but when they tried to pull her from the car, Stevenson tried to pull her back in! Thomas was taken to the Carolinas Medical Center before being taken to jail along with Smith, Stevenson and another woman. Thomas was charged with DWIÂ , two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and resisting a public officer while Smith and Stevenson were both charged with resisting a public officer.
The victim, Alissa Jordan talked to NBC Charlotte about the attack saying “I had no idea who they were engaged or married to, I just wanted to leave”.
