Let’s provide a double applause for two of hip hop’s most legendary rap artists; Kanye West and Jay-Z. The two million dollar mogul emcees collaboration hit two huge milestones this week.
It has been over a year since the duo-album Watch the Throne was released, but the tracks from the album are still going heavy.
“Niggas in Paris”, the first track released from the album, hit triple platinum status with its digital sales reaching 3 million units sold [according to Hip Hop N More].
We can’t stop there. The duo album also scored a gold plaque for its single “No Church in the Wild” – the album’s opening track. The song “No Church in the Wild” has been featured in ads for cars, movies, and other products since the Watch the Throne’s release. The song featured R&B sensation, Frank Ocean.
