In celebration of the world not ending today as the ancient Mayan civilization predicted, J. Cole has dropped an unreleased track titled “2012”. The track was originally recorded back in 2008, but what better time to drop it than now?
Even with lyrics like “The world ain’t spinnin for too much longer/Ay baby hope you’re ready me and you both goners/ but in the meantime do what you like” the song is surprisingly upbeat. You might even want to add this one to your 2012 New Year’s playlist. Check out “2012” below.
