Let’s just start off by saying that Angel Haze and Azealia Banks are two of the most promising females in the rap game right now, so it hurts us to see the two beefing, but unfortunately they have been going back and forth for the past couple of days. Azealia Banks, the NYC rapstress who has been known for having beefs with the likes of Iggy Azalea, Jim Jones and more. Angel Haze is a Brooklyn-bred female mc who you may remember from her 2012 appearance in the Iron Fists BET Hip Hop Awards cypher along with A$AP Rocky, Childish Gambino and Joey Bada$$.
The beef all started on Thursday when the two exchanged verbal blows via Twitter when Azealia tweeted “Seriously, if you were not born and raised in NY…. DON’T CLAIM NY. YOU ARE NOT A NEW YORKER“. Angel Haze who is considered a Brooklyn MC took offense to. The two went back and forth with Azealia tweeting “Angel Haze has a crush on me. Thats it. Case Closed“. Angel replied with “bitch, i dragged you….youre struggling to reach like your edges are…. stopppp @AZEALIABANKS”.
But of course in true hip hop fashion the ladies couldn’t let the beef exist only on Twitter. Angel Haze took the first step by dropping an Azealia diss track titled “On the Edge” where she goes in on Azealia’s thinning hair over a Notorious B.I.G. beat. Azealia responded with her diss track titled
“No Problems” where she taunts Angels saying “Who her? I’m a true star/ This bitch brawl got blue balls/ Hard pressed cos I took off/ I’m form fresh from New York“.
“And tried your hardest and still failed when that didn’t work
See you the type of bitch to try to son a bitch who know u barren
Type of bitch to lie about the type of shit that’s so apparent.”
