A very popular YouTube channel operator who promotion of weapons has been shot dead in his home. According to reports from The Atlanta Journal (via WLHR-FM) Keith Ratliff, 32, was found dead on Thursday evening on Hayes Rd. in Carnesville.
Franklin County Sheriff Stevie Thomas reported to the radio station that Ratliff, of Frankfort, Ky. had received one gunshot to the head, and that his death is being treated as a homicide until further investigating.
Keith Ratliff and partner Kyle Lamar Myers, appear on many YouTube videos on their “FPSRussia” YouTube channel. The channel has over three million subscribers. The videos on the channel have brought in over a half-billion views, and according to YouTube, Ratliff’s channel ranked #9 on their most popular channel list.
Now check this out, FPSRussia stands behind a pro-gun movement, involving young people. Ratliff reportedly shares with young people that guns are not just for people in the movies or video games. The youth he accusingly is geared towards make up many of those views. Reports state that Ratliff was tied up in a chair, and shot in the back of his head, execution style, but no robbery. His guns and valuable possessions were still left in the house. According to reports on Liberty and Such, this also makes the second murder of a well known gun business man to have died in the past week.
