Pepsi Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show
Not that we expected anything less than amazing from King Bey, but the queen definitely delivered during her Super Bowl XLVII halftime show last night at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. Dressed in a black leather and lace one-piece, Mrs. Carter started off the performance with a live rendition of her hit, “Love on Top”, which was followed up by a reggae-inspired set that took us back to the early 2000’s and her collaboration with Sean Paul for “Baby Boy”.

The moment we were all waiting for though, was the moment where rumors would be confirmed on whether or not Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child would be joining her on stage for a Destiny’s Child reunion. Despite Michelle Williams’ claims that they would not be reuniting for the show, rumors were confirmed when the two ladies joined Beyonce on stage for “Bootylicious” , “Independent Women” and “Single Ladies”.

Beyonce closed the show with “Halo” and left the Superdome and the rest of America in awe from the production we had just witnessed. She also left things pretty dark in the Big Easy, but that’s another story. Check out footage from Beyonce’s Halftime Show below.
