    untitled

The 21 year old Michigan rapper Angel Haze first got noticed on the rap scene with her Reservation EP and now is getting ready to release her Universal Republic debut called Dirty Gold.

Her name has been in the headlines because of her recent feud with fellow female emcee Azealia Banks but Haze is back to her business for her new album. She says that only 50 percent of the album is done so make sure to lookout for a fall release.

Until Dirty Gold is available check out her mixtapes Reservations and Classick.

“Everything has been so inspiring. It is such a chill place,”
Haze tells XXL. “Everything is so far apart and no one can really get to me. I can just be alone in my own zone.”

Angel haze is considered one of rap new and hottest rappers, do you think it will live up to expectations? Will she bring the real female rapper back and continue to finish what female emcees did in the 90’s?

“It’s kind of way I perceive myself and a million other people. People that come from nothing, come from underground. Come from disgusting places with vile pasts,” she said. “It’s also the name of one of my favorite bands. When I thought about it, I was like, ‘Oh! Let’s do this.’ So I texted the lead singer [of Dirty Gold], “Yeah, your name is going to be the name of my album.” He’s like, ‘So cool!’”
