Kanye West’s Grandad isn’t attending any “Kimye” wedding, if one happens.
The New York Daily News talked with the infamous stage-ranting rapper Kanye West’s 97-year old grandfather, Portwood Williams, in his home town Oklahoma City recently, and the elderly man had some interesting words to say about his grandson’s “baby mother”.
From West’s grandfather’s own mouth,
She is beautiful – and she’s just as sweet as she is beautiful – and that’s what I liked about her!
So, without a doubt, Kim K’s curves and million dollar smile did its intended job, but Williams isn’t completely convinced on any longevity with the couple.
Portwood Williams, a veteran of Oklahoma’s civil rights sit-ins, added:
She was just down to earth, she’s rich, and those kinds of people, they’ve got everything.
Even at his late age, Williams was familiar with Kim Kardashian’s prior marriage and the 72-days it existed. He joked by stating,
They didn’t make it.
So, even though Hollywood’s doll candy Kim Kardashian, flashed her beauty in the face of Kanye’s grandfather, the 97 year old man was still not sold on her completely. He concluded that the couple should be in no rush to get married.
When he was asked whether or not he’d even attend a wedding of Kanye and Kim’s, the elderly man stated,
No, I don’t do weddings… You spend a lot of money, then in a few weeks, you’re separated!
