Michael Vick cancels his book signing due to death threats.
It’s really beginning to seem as if Michael Vick, ‘Philadelphia Eagles’ quarterback just can’t just catch a break, according to reports at TheGrio.com (via Associated Press). The talented football player was set to appear at his book signing for book ‘Finally Free’ on March 26th, but the event has been cancelled. An anonymous person, who has close knowledge of the situation, contacted Associated Press with some startling news.
Apparently, the signing was canned due to some death threats against the store employees and Vick. Byron Williamson, president of Worthy Publishing, told Phillymag.com, “We cannot knowingly put anyone in harm’s way, and therefore we must announce the cancellation of Mr. Vick’s book-signing appearances.”
We can only assume that many will never forgive Mike Vick for his dogfighting mistakes, but one thing is for certain: he served the time sentenced to him for his actions. Do you think its time for people to give Vick a break? Comment below!
