It’s Murder!!! Ja Rule Released From Prison
Ja Rule can breathe a sigh of relief today as he just finished up nearly a two-year sentence for illegal gun possession and tax evasion charges.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons says he left a correctional facility in New York’s Adirondacks on Tuesday, though time remains on his sentence. Ja Rule’s wife picked him and brought him home where he will remain on house arrest and supervision until his sentence actually ends on July 28th.
The former Murder Inc. star had served most of a two-year sentence for illegal gun possession in a New York state prison before his release in February and subsequent transfer into federal custody in the tax evasion case.
He admitted failing to pay taxes on more than $3 million earned between 2004 and 2006.
