Nicki Minaj And Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg Make Amends After Last Year’s Summer Jam Debacle [Video]
Breakups and makeups. That’s what happened today as Nicki Minaj paid a visit to Hot 97 and sat down with Peter Rosenberg as they put their nearly year-long beef behind them.
If you recall, things went left last year at Hot 97’s Summer Jam concert when Rosenberg spoke negatively of Nicki Minaj’s crossover hit “Starships.” The morning show host was hosting the Festival Stage prior to the main show and went in on Nicki’s hit feeling that the outdoor pre-show was for pure Hip-Hop.
Nicki, who was to be one of the major headliners was upset by the remarks and took it as a diss to her and her fans and pulled out of the show. To further put the point on the disapproval, Lil Wayne made an O.G. call and none of YMCMB performed that night except for Tyga.
Airing out their differences, a few shots were thrown by Nicki who questioned Rosenberg’s resume as an authority of Hip-Hop which he respectively educated her own.
