The 2013 BET Awards were held last night at The Nokia Theatre and some of the big winners were Kendrick Lamar, Miguel and Rihanna.
Hip-Hop’s reigning lyrical champ Kendrick Lamar took home the “Best New Artist” award as well as “Best Male Hip-Hop Artist” and “Best Collaboration” for the posse cut “Problems” with A$AP Rocky, Drake and 2 Chainz.
Chris Tucker hosted the star-studded event but appeared a little rusty as the jokes were more miss than hit.
Charlie Wilson brought down the house however as he performed with Stevie Wonder, Jamie Foxx and Snoop and received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
