Legendary singing superstar Stevie Wonder won’t allow a dollar to get in the way of his moral principles as he has told his fans that he will no longer perform any concerts in Florida because of the controversial “Stand you Ground” law that ultimately allowed killer George Zimmerman to get acquitted of murder. Here is what he said:
In a video posted on YouTube, the 63-year-old singer said at a concert in Quebec City, Canada, on Sunday “that until the ‘stand your ground’ law is abolished in Florida, I will never perform there again.”
Wonder added: “Wherever I find that law exists, I will not perform in that state or in that part of the world.”
The “stand your ground” law allows people to use deadly force if they believe their life is in danger.
In addition to the singer’s boycott of the state, there are other scheduled boycotts of businesses and products that have contributed to the George Zimmerman defense fund.

The Zimmerman case had NOTHING to do with the stand your ground law. He was not exhonerated under Stand your ground charges. He was found not guilty for self defense reasons because the prosecution could not prove their case. Stand your ground was NEVER involved in that case.
