CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story Trailer
It looks like VH-1’s original movie “CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story” is shaping up just fine as a teaser for the film has just been released.
As previously reported, Drew Sidora, Lil Mama and KeKe Palmer were chosen to play groundbreaking R&B vixens T-Boz, Left-Eye and Chilli respectively.
The film will explore the Grammy award-winning trio’s rise to fame as well as the creation of their 22-times platinum sophomore smash CrazySexyCool.
Shot mostly in Atlanta, the film is directed by Charles Stone III (“Drumline” and “Paid in Full”) and was written by screenwriter Kate Lanier (“Set it Off” and “Beauty Shop”).
TLC’s surviving members Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas are also executive producing and serving as consultants on the project which is in pre-production.
