It’s no secret that Drake has had eyes for Rihanna for a very long time and it looks like singer Rihanna may now be feeling the same way since she is no longer emotionally tied to her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.
After the couple’s on again, off again relationship, Brown let it be known that he is no longer interested in dating her or anyone else serious for that matter.
On Thursday, the Barbados-born singer tweeted out a couple of lyrics from his new tune “Hold on We’re Going Home.”
When a fan responded with more of the lyrics, Rihanna responded, “My new fave record, period.”
This is, of course, significant because of Drake’s turbulent relationship with Rihanna’s ex, Chris Brown, which culminated in a bloody nightclub brawl in Manhattan last summer. Both Brown and Drake have traded disses in the press and in song since the altercation.
Both Rihanna and Chris Brown are guilty of embarrassing middle school behavior when it comes to Drake. Earlier this summer, Brown unfollowed Rihanna and passive aggressively tweeted, “She’s not mine if she’s everybody else’s” after she began following Drake on Instagram. A few weeks later, Rihanna’s pal Melissa Forde posted a video of Rihanna twerking to Drake’s verse on A$AP Rocky’s “Fuckin’ Problems.”
