Drake appeared on “Chelsea Lately” with Host Chelsea Handler last night to promote his new album, “Nothing Was The Same” which is out today, September 24th.
Chelsea, who flirted with Drake in her usual dry comedic way, spoke to the Canadian born artist about his role in “Anchorman 2” and how he scored it. They discussed the resemblance the character has with the ‘baby Drake’ on his album art and then joked about Beyonce’s baby, Blue Ivy’s, resemblance to the rapper. 
The comic filled interview revealed a little into the Drake/Rihanna rumored remix relationship, which he says is way in the past. He suggested that he already “penetrated” Rihanna and that he’s looking for somebody new to penetrate. Drake also talked about his need to express himself on the album, which explains the limited artist features. Perhaps he was referring to her mind?
The short chat didn’t bring up how he feels about the opinion people have of him as the “softy” of rap or the meme jokes on Instagram or Twitter. The interview was all-round fun and light and it’s cool to see Drake a little less melancholy.
