Lady Gaga unleashes her hip, alter ego on her new track, “Jewels N’ Drugs”. The all-time pop star shuffled her deck of cards and recruited a new lineup of artists to feature on her new track. Gaga rounds up T.I., Too Short, and Twista to add that triple threat to her hit! Gaga is known for her retro unique style that she owns and that inner Gaga that comes alive through her music, and this time, she does no different!
Gaga keeps it true to the roots on her new single and adds just a dash of spice as she stirs a little hip hop flavor in the dish! Gaga’s new single is said to appear on her third studio album, Artpop, in which she says is “a celebration and a poetic musical journey”. Artpop debuted on November 6, 2013, featuring her all-time famous hit single, “Applause”, and it’s no doubt that “Jewels N’ Drugs” will be next in line for the pop artist!
Gaga’s new single is downright hip with an artsy feel as she chants over the hook, “Don’t want your jewels, I want your drugs/Don’t want your money, want your love/Don’t want your jewels, I want your drugs/Don’t want your jewels, I want your drugs/Don’t want your money, want your love”
Not to mention The King, T.I. himself who hops on the track and slays it as he raps, “Still bank here, shawty, yeah you know what it is/Pockets full of number of bands and bills/Came up around that standard wheel/Was finna do a deal about 60 mill”
