Pharrell Williams can definitely say 2013 was a great year. With hits like “Blurred Lines” and ” Get Lucky” success was the only option for the star. Yesterday Columbia Records announced it has signed the mega producer/artist to a record deal. This deal will bring a solo album in 2014. “Happy” a single from the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack and the first ever 24 hour video, will be featured on the forthcoming album. This year Pharrell was also responsible for producing hits for artists like Nelly, Tyler, The Creator, Earl Sweatshirt, 2 Chainz and Beyonce. There is no release date yet for the solo album but looks like 2014 will be another big one for Pharrell.
