We have just received exclusive video footage of a evening robbery of the popular Atlanta sneaker store Fly Kix.
According to Atlanta police, 8-armed men entered into the store with guns drown and ordered two employees to lie on the ground while they stole over $18,000 in clothing,
A store employee stated at approximately 6:50pm, 8 black males entered “Fly Kix” brandishing their firearms. Employee stated one of the robbers then pointed his “gun” towards him then held him down on the ground while two other subjects stood around him yelling “how to open the register”. Approximately 204 apparel items at a total value of $18360 well taken. The robbers also stole 18 pair of designer sneakers with a street value of over $3000.00 in addition, they took $1800.00 in cash from the register.
One employee stated that they took several customers personal belongings along with his set of keys (House and car keys). This same employee also stated that a customer advised them that the robbers left in an older model gold Ford Taurus and a white minivan with a license plate of “BXE3910”. Police suspect this was gang-related as well.
Fly Kix is best known for hosting many industry and charity events and the store is a favorite among many hip hop stars. We attempted to reach out to the business for comment however the store posted the following to their twitter page:
